Richard Neall is Chief Executive of the SEH Group which incorporates Jackson Civil Engineering where he has been Chairman and Chief Executive of since leading a Management Buy-Out from former owners Peterhouse in 2004.
Previously he was Managing Director of the Civil Engineering Division of Norwest Holst Construction Ltd part of the worlds largest construction group Vinci.
His introduction to the UK civil engineering industry after moving from his native Australia was with the Jackson Group where he held a number of positions including IT Manager, General Manager of the Plant Division and Managing Director of the compressed air division.
As a ‘hands on’ manager Richard has brought a fresh approach and restructured the business to suit the new challenges facing a regional contractor since the MBO. This has included a rebalancing of workload to its current 50-50 split between framework contracts and individual competitively won contracts.
Married with two young children Richard, as with many Australians, is a keen sportsman with a competitive spirit to match. He enjoys golf, cricket, skiing, and water sports.
